Yvonne Mullen
Associate Attorney
Yvonne is a highly experienced attorney, having practiced as a barrister in Ireland for 12 years, prior to being admitted in the Cayman Islands in 2015. Her experience traverses a wide range of family and civil law disputes, with a specialist interest in high value matrimonial matters and complex child welfare cases.
One of the most skilled attorneys in the Cayman Islands in this field, in 2019/2020 alone Yvonne represented parties in the highest value matrimonial case in this jurisdiction to date and handled one of the Cayman Islands’ most complex child custody and parental alienation cases. Yvonne is an accredited mediator and accomplished negotiator, and draws on her extensive legal experience and practical insight to meet her clients’ needs and to resolve their matters in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
Education and Experience
Yvonne received her Bachelor of Civil Law from University College, Dublin in 2000, followed by a Barrister-at-Law Degree from the Honourable Society of the King’s Inns in 2002. She was called to the Bar of Ireland in 2002, the Bar of Northern Ireland in 2010, and the Bar of the Cayman Islands in 2015.
In her spare time, Yvonne is an avid boxer and holds the position of Treasurer of the Cayman Islands Boxing Association (CIBA).
