Kim McLaughlin

Kim has over 20 years’ experience in corporate management and corporate law. She joined Hampson and Company in 2011, initially as an articled clerk and subsequently as an attorney following her admission to the Cayman Islands Bar.

Known for her excellent client management skills, Kim has experience in a number of contentious and non-contentious matters, including personal injury and insurance defence matters, complex family and children matters and Cayman local practice.

In addition to her significant legal experience, Kim has experience as a Corporate Director, and in all aspects of the compliance and regulatory framework within the Islands. Her previous experience with the Cayman Islands Stock Exchange and the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority provide her with the regulatory expertise that is essential to corporate practice.

Kim is the managing director of Hampsons Corporate Limited, a role which fully incorporates her years of corporate experience.
